in
the
center
acute
area
that
the
drivers
side
windshield
wiper
wipes
off
or
if
it
is
larger
than
a
quarter,
Most
insurance companies will suggest that your windshield be replaced.
If
your
shopping
for
a
new
windshield,
you
need
to
be
aware
that
depending
on
the
type
and
size
of
the
break,
your
windshield
may
be
able
to
be
repaired
instead
of
replaced.
Windshield
repairs
help
retain
the
structural
integrity
of
the
glass.

repair

permanent
process

removes
air
from
the
break
and
fills
it
with
a
durable
resin.
The
process
bonds
the
glass
to
the
resin,

pit)

windshield
as
long
as
it
doesn’t
have
any
crack
legs
emanating
from
the
pit.
There
is
a
procedure
that
can
be
done
to
make
it
look
better
for
a
short
time.
It
involves
grinding
the
pit
to
a
much
larger
diameter
and
adding
a
special
pit
filler
resin
to
level
the
spot
out
but
the
bond
usually
fails
a
short
time later allowing the resin to pop out of the pit so we do not recommend it for our customers.

It is also possible to repair a crack in your windshield as long as a Confederate Dollar Bill.
Repairing a windshield break is a process that can only be done one time.
It’s imperative that you select a company that is well qualified because
after the resin has hardened it can not be redone again.
